Food For Thought
Interested in reducing food waste? In re-directing food towards those in need rather than landfill? Supporting local community cafes? Learning about cooking and making bread? Then book your tickets asap to a Love Hastings Love Yourself all-day free community food event taking place at The Stade Hall on 27 April. Zelly Restorick writes.
How impressive it is that there are people in Hastings and St Leonards who don’t just sigh, grumble and lament about issues affecting us and the planet, but are motivated to ACTIVELY DO SOMETHING to change things for the better. In this instance a number of organisations have collaborated to raise awareness about what we can all do to improve our relationship with the food we consume.
I’ll let the posters convey all you need to know about what’s happening and we’ll post more updates nearer the event.
Book your space via Food For Thought Hastings at Eventbrite. Facebook: Love Hastings Love Yourself and Facebook Events Page.
