Enjoycation: Education, but not as you know it!
A trio of Hastings teachers has started teaching lessons of a new kind. With a total of over 80 years Primary School teaching in local schools between them, Paula Radice, Mark Ridings and Alison Day are providing home-educated children with a weekly opportunity to learn alongside other children and to experience activities that encourage their collaborative, thinking and learning skills.

Fully focussed
The new company behind this enterprise, Enjoycation CIC, is based in Jackson Hall in Portland Place (the offices of Hastings Voluntary Action) and is committed to child-centred learning. Enjoycation is a not-for-profit Community Interest Company, designed to support the growing number of local home-educating families.
Director Dr Paula Radice says: “We are delighted to be able to provide a really personalised learning time for home-educated children, in a permanent and fully-resourced room, right in the heart of Hastings. The children are enjoying learning alongside friends, and using new skills and knowledge in creative, fun ways.”
If you’re home-educating your child or children and you’d like them to attend the groups, you can email paularad@totalise.co.uk or ring 07851008863. One-to-one tutoring is also available, either during the day or after-school.

This has been such a wonderful addition to our home education journey, providing an opportunity for small group learning in a creative child led environment. Highly recommended.
