May Day 2022 through the eyes of JJ Waller

Brighton-based photographer JJ Waller has been a regular visitor to Hastings and St Leonards over the last couple of decades and a founding contributor to Hastings Online Times. Below is a mash-up of some of his photographs of bikers and green people from this year’s Bank Holiday Monday.

JJ started off on the seafront in the early afternoon photographing bikers before they roared off, then climbed the West Hill for some Jack in the Green action. He said it was great to be back for another May Day Monday which felt as crowded and friendly as it has always been.
