Holy Trinity Hastings launch Alpha course online
Holy Trinity Hastings (HTH) will be running the Alpha course through the video format Zoom starting next Wednesday 6 May at 7.30pm, writes HOT’s Vanessa Alves.
Simon Larkin, the vicar, explained, “Many people are asking deep questions about life at the moment, and Alpha is the ideal opportunity to do this with others in a safe, fun environment where you can make new friends. We have seen so many people love Alpha, and are very pleased we can now offer it on-line, without even having to leave their own homes.”
Alpha runs across 10 sessions. Each session includes a short film that covers a range of topics such as Who Is Jesus?, Why And How Should I Pray? and Is There More To Life Than This?
There is a discussion afterward where you can share your thoughts with a small online group. There’s no pressure, no follow-up and no charge.
After recently completing the Alpha course, Megan commented, ‘Everyone in the group was so friendly and the leaders made me feel so welcome’.
