Welcome to My World: An Exhibition of Photography by Alan Russell. Alan invites you to his private view on 9 October from 7 to 9 pm at the Zoom Arts Gallery, Warrior Square Station in St Leonards on Sea. Susan Cleland writes.
“I often capture images, which others don’t see that challenge the viewer to wonder what they are,” says Alan. “This is what my photographs are about; this is what excites me. I’m not a photographer but an observer of the more unusual.”

“I did an introduction to digital photography in 2009 and discovered I had an eye for the unusual but not the technical. My first photo then was ” Out Of The Blue” a purely accidental discovery. From there on, I began to see more of the unusual and continue to do so.
“I moved here from Scotland in 1980 and found it such an open interesting place, it has always been a vibrant welcoming place, which I have been happy to call home ever since. I can’t imagine living anywhere else but never say never, who knows what’s around the corner?”

Welcome To My World by Alan Russell: Zoom Arts Group: The exhibition will be open daily with free entry from 10.30am to 4pm starting on 9 October and finishing on 14 October.
