Bowie Experience: Saturday 15 September

White Rock Comedy Club: Wednesday 26 September
WRT launch their new comedy club with some comedy names who are no stranger to the stage and screen.
Ben Norris has been performing on the comedy circuit since 1993. He has performed at comedy festivals around the world and is a regular at the world famous Comedy Store. Ben’s TV appearances include The Comedy Store (Open mike) They think it’s all over (BBC 2), Mock the Week (BBC 2) and Never Mind the Buzzcocks (BBC 2).
Radu Isac, one of the rising stars in British comedy, brings acerbic wit and observational material front and centre in his own slightly dark way that has earned him much praise on the UK circuit including Comedy Central’s Extra – Stand up Express, BBC World Service – What Makes The World Laugh and BBC Radio 4 – Fresh From the Fringe.
Andrew Maxwell, renowned for his cutting edge comedy and intrepid social commentary, is a double Edinburgh Comedy Award nominee (2007 & 2011). Andrew has also won and been nominated for several other major awards including the Time Out Live Award for Best Stand-up. Andrew has appeared on recent series of BBC’s Have I Got News for You, ITV2’S Celebrity Juice, the Dave Channel’s Argumental, BBC2’s Mock The Week and R4’s The Now Show.
The evening is hosted by Chelsea Hart, a young stand up comedian and opera singer, hailing from Alaska. She headlined a four city tour of Bosnia and Herzegovina with her show Chelsea Loves Bosnia and is currently underway with her newest show, People Who Need People. She has performed stand up in Spain, Germany, Norway, France, Ireland, the UK, and live-streamed to China, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, and Poland.

Les McKeown’s Bay City Rollers: Friday 28 September
A voyage back to the 1970s, when Les and his band ruled the pop charts and The Bay City Rollers’ music became the soundtrack for a generation of teenagers. Les brings back the excitement of ‘Rollermania’, performing all the original hits including Bye Bye Baby, Shang-a-Lang, Remember, Summerlove Sensation and Give A Little Love plus many more, as well as introducing new songs from the new album, Lost Songs.
