What’s HOT at the White Rock- autumn/winter brochure out now
The White Rock Theatre have issued their new brochure for the 2019 autumn/winter season, writes HOT’s Paul Way-Rider. It’s also available in digital form so you can have it to hand on any or all of your devices.

Totally Tina – Fri. 2 Aug.
Totally Tina is a spectacular, energetic recreation and probably the closest thing you’ll get to a live Tina Turner concert! A sparkling mix of nostalgia and surprise featuring all the hits, her best loved covers and the odd twist in the tale, this performance will have you feeling like the Queen of Rock n Roll is back strutting her stuff in front of you. Chitty Chitty Bang Bang Thurs 15 – Sat. 17 Aug 7.30pm (extra show on Saturday at 2.30pm)
Chitty Chitty Bang Bang is the 17th annual Summer Youth Project. Presented by the most talented young performers in the area, this stage spectacle features the high-flying car herself, a full live band and songs by the Sherman Brothers – including the Academy Award-nominated title song along with Toot Sweets, Me Ol’ Bamboo, Hushabye Mountain and many more.

Aladdin Fri 13 – Sun 29 December
Journey to magical faraway lands with us this Christmas at the White Rock Theatre as Duncan James (Blue, Chicago, Legally Blonde, The Rocky Horror Show and TV’s Hollyoaks) leads the cast as Aladdin in this year’s spectacular festive family pantomime!
Packed with all of the traditional pantomime ingredients White Rock audiences expect, Aladdin will feature star casting, a lamp-load of comedy, jaw-dropping special effects, sensational song-and-dance and plenty of boos and hisses the whole family will enjoy. More info and tickets
Francis Rossi: I Talk Too Much Sunday 3 May 2020
Legendary Status Quo lead singer Francis Rossi will share the secrets of his 50-plus years in rock’n’roll when he takes to the stage for an intimate evening of chat and music. The co-founder of Status Quo will talk about his mishaps and adventures of life on the road with one of Britain’s biggest and best-loved bands. More info and tickets
The Dualers: Road to Wembley tour
Sat 11 July 2020.
The Dualers are a 9 piece ska and reggae band from southeast London, described by some as the finest band of this type in Britain. The band embark on their biggest tour to date with a stop in Hastings on 11 July 2020.
