Volunteers sought for Hastings Fringe
Do have a keen interest in the performing arts? Enjoy meeting the public? Would you like to be involved in helping to make Hastings Fringe Festival a roaring success? This exciting and innovative multi-art programme is taking shape. If you have some free time during the first week of September 2016, then the Fringe team need your help!
Hastings Fringe Festival 2016 is evolving and expanding from their first ever festival last year, so that events will be happening in a variety of exciting new and historic venues around Hastings and St Leonards, although over the 4 day period, the main hub venue will be the Observer Building.
As a valued volunteer, you will get the opportunity to work in an exciting, vibrant atmosphere whilst at the same time enhancing the performance going experience for our audiences. You will assist in meeting and greeting members of the public, checking tickets and advising people about what‘s on, location and when it is happening.
Volunteers get to accompany audiences from one venue to another or help our performers set up their shows. Being a volunteer is an important role, as you will be the first friendly face representing Hastings Fringe Festival and artists. Plus you could even get to see a wide range of shows for free!
The team are also looking for a HEAD VOLUNTEER to lead the team! For this role, pre-volunteering or events management experience is required.
Interested? Contact Heather Alexander on hastingsfringevolunteers@gmail.com
and tell her a bit about yourself.
This festival represents the edge of something new – pushing boundaries and getting exited about live performance and our eclectic art scene!
