New season shows at the White Rock Theatre
White Rock Theatre (WRT) have released their new season line-up for late 2018 and spring 2019, writes Paul Way-Rider.
There’s something for everyone, with a variety of entertainment from international touring theatre shows, acclaimed tribute artists, comedy and live music.

Gag House Comedy Superstars
Friday 8 February 8pm
Headlining this show is Lee Nelson, best known for performing both on the stand-up circuit and in television comedy shows. His TV credits include Live at the Apollo (BBC1), Al Murray’s Multiple Personality Disorder (ITV1), Sunday Night at The Palladium (ITV), The John Bishop Show (BBC1) and Lee Nelson’s Well Good Show (BBC3). CBeebie’s Twirlywoos Live
Sunday 18 March 1.30pm and 4.30pm and Monday 19 March 10.30am
From the producers of The Very Hungry Caterpillar Show and Sarah and Duck Live on Stage, this children’s favourite is on its first live theatre tour with a stop-off in Hastings this March.

Sounds of the 60s Live with Tony Blackburn
Saturday 30 March 7.30pm
A must for fans of this era of rock’n’roll and of the BBC radio icon Tony Blackburn, featuring 60s classics performed live by the Sounds Of The 60s All Star Band & Singers.

UB40: 40th Anniversary Tour
Tuesday 2 April 8pm
One of the biggest reggae acts the UK has ever produced come to Hastings on their 40th anniversary tour. Featuring UB40’s five founding members, fans can expect to hear the band’s greatest hits, including One In Ten, Kingston Town, (I Can’t Help) Falling in Love With You and Red, Red Wine. Buy tickets
Lost Voice Guy: I’m Only In It For The Parking

Next spring WRT welcomes Britain’s Got Talent 2018 winner Lee Ridley (aka Lost Voice Guy) on his first tour since winning one of TV’s biggest talent competitions.
