This Abba tribute band has embarked upon a brand new tour for 2013/14, aptly named, ‘Mad about ABBA’ and they visit The White Rock Theatre, Hastings on Saturday 11 May. It has now been 22 years since Voulez Vous’ humble beginnings back in autumn 1992. For more than four decades ABBA have won over new generations of fans. Today both young and old instantly recognise the distinctive tunes that have stood the test of time since that unforgettable Eurovision performance way back in 1974! According to the Sunday Telegraph, bookies have been offering odds of 14/1 on an Abba reunion by the end of the year, after Agnetha told a German magazine she would not rule out a “charity concert, maybe.”  However her former husband, Bjorn Ulvaeus, scotched these rumours by saying that Abba were just too old and that he could not bear the stress of disappointing everyone. Perhaps he is right and it is better to relive the glitz and glamour with a good tribute show!
