The Full English
Here today, gone tomorrow!
Mercury Prize nominated Seth Lakeman, who has successfully helped to steer English folk into the musical mainstream with his high-energy performances, comes to St Mary in the Castle, Hastings on Saturday 9 May with The Full English, writes Bob Perry.

Seth Lakeman
Seth has joined up with Ben Nicolls, Fay Hield, Martin Simpson, Nancy Kerr, Rob Harbron and Sam Sweeney, a group of stellar musicians, who were voted Best Group of the Year, at the BBC Folk Awards, to perform just a select number of live shows, but the night after Hastings, the super-group will disband and never perform together again
The singers and musicians shake the songs into fresh new life with exciting instrumental textures and irresistible sing-along choruses, whilst the material ranges widely through comic songs, broadsides, tragic ballads and dance tunes.
Make sure you catch them, for they will never pass this way again!
