Hastings band Haest feature in triple-header at White Rock Theatre
Hastings band Haest will be appearing alongside pioneers of the grime punk subculture Riskee and The Ridicule and emo/pop duo SKIES at the White Rock Theatre (WRT) on Friday 29 October. Details below provided by WRT.
Haest, hailing from Hastings, have developed a sound all of their own, mixing influences from punk, hardcore, doom and noise rock. The release of their new EP is imminent, it deserves to be heard live!
The show’s headliners, Riskee and the Ridicule, have made a name for themselves through several tours all over the UK’s grassroots music venues, clubs and festivals. They quickly become known for their high energy performance and a unique sound that connected with their audience, who in turn are just as lively in the mosh pit as the band are on stage!
Recent shows in Brighton and at London’s Powerhaus, a renowned music venue in Camden, have seen the rising stars play to energetic sold-out crowds.
Also on the bill are Kent duo SKIES. Handpicking elements of pop, rock and emo in equal measure, and with tracks featuring on BBC Radio 1, Channel 4’s Made in Chelsea and ITV’s The Only Way is Essex, SKIES’ sound has begun to reach some heights. SKIES consist of Alie Albury (lead vocals / guitar) and Jericho Tozer (drums / synths).
Friday 29 October, 7pm. Admission £10 (in advance)
Please note this is an 18+ event and a general admission standing concert. More information can be found here.
