Idea Of A Pier film challenge
The De La Warr Pavilion invites you to take part in their Short Film Challenge and have a chance to win a £300 cash price. As we celebrate Hastings’ pier winning the 2017 Royal Institute of British Architects’ Stirling Prize, this is a timely competition.
The De La Warr Pavilion, in partnership with Berwick Visual Arts and Grundy Art Gallery, invites filmmakers of all ages to produce a short film that conjures up their Idea Of A Pier.
Is your Idea Of A Pier: a place of adventure? Coming of age? Romance? Dazzling engineering? Ghosts? A daring or misspent youth? Melancholy? Or something else altogether?
Selected films will be screened at the De La Warr Pavilion from 6pm on Saturday 27 January 2018 and an overall winner will be awarded a £300 prize.
