Zoom Arts portrait exhibition
Zoom Arts is holding its September exhibition at the Stade Hall, Rock-A-Nore Road from Thursday 21 September until Sunday 1 October. There is a private view open to the public on Wednesday 20 September from 7 til 9 pm, with special guests, The Duelling Badgers. Susan Cleland writes.
The exhibition will be open daily from 10am to 4pm. The theme this year is ‘Portraits’ but as usual, Zoom artists and photographers have come up with some interesting interpretations of the theme. Not all the sitters are animate. A portrait of a brick?
Come along and check it out. Zoom Arts currently has around thirty members, all living locally, and is proving increasingly popular as an affordable way to exhibit – and for art lovers to own affordable art.
