Photo Robert Maxted: Hastings in Summer
Zoom Arts news
Zoom Arts Group is primarily a self funding collective of creative people who regularly hold exhibitions to showcase members own art work. Zoom Arts recently held a group exhibition of work for auction. This proved a great success and all money raised went to ‘Hastings Supports Refugees’. Susan Cleland writes.
The cash – £339.95 – was presented to Jayne Grimshaw of Hastings Supports Refugees on Saturday 13 August.

Zoom Arts Group exhibition
Zoom Arts Gallery is proud to present Robert Maxted’s photographic exhibition which celebrates Hastings in Summer. The images were taken from May to July 2017 and celebrate popular sites, while observing the inhabitants of this well-loved seaside town and the changeable weather conditions.
Within these photos, Robert reminisces on the summer months, as the autumn threatens to gather pace and overwhelm the last of the summer wine.
The exhibition runs from Monday 28 August to Thursday 31 August, opening times are 11am to 4pm. The venue is Zoom Arts Gallery, Warrior Square Station, St Leonards, TN37 6BS. Contact Robert Maxted on 0757327266 or email him at maxphoto@hotmail.co.uk
Zoom Arts aims to hold two exhibitions every year at the Stade Hall, one of which is themed and the other is open to self interpretation. All work is for sale to the general public with all profits going to the artist with no fees or commission charged by the Zoom Arts Group.
