Still time to visit Zoom Arts BELOW exhibition

There is still time to pop down to Oscar’s on the Square to view Zoom Arts’ latest exhibition exploring the theme of BELOW. HOT’s Jordan Dixon writes.

Already under way, the exhibition will continue until Sunday 30 August, opening from 12-6pm.

A whole host of artists have contributed to the exhibition’s collection of works, each offering their own varied and personal responses to the theme of BELOW, through painting, ceramics, textiles and photography.

The exhibition has allowed artists to further develop ideas that were originally  proposed for the pre-lockdown ABOVE AND BELOW exhibition that was planned as part of A Town Explores A Book’s meditations on HG Wells’ A Time Machine shortly before the isolation period began.

The full list of featured artists includes:

Nick Hill – mixed media – a prolific Zoom member who creates colourful, thought-provoking work

Denise O’Neill – painting – a new Zoom member who creates beautiful seascapes

Trish Kilczewski – 3D wall art – another new Zoom member who creates quirky, original wall installations
