Pintar Rapido
Pintar Rapido is an annual painting event: an outdoor painting challenge for professional and non-professional artists of all skill levels to make a painting of the local area in a day. The results are then exhibited the next day, writes HOT’s Zelly Restorick – and awards handed out to participants!
I found out about this event via a posting from Suzanne Aral on the Hastings Creatives group website – and it’s hinted that the organisers of Pintar Rapido are looking for a South Coast venue for the exhibition next year! Hastings, n’est ce pas? This year, the exhibition is to be held in Chelsea.
Here’s what Pintar Rapido founder, Roger Beckett, says about the event: ‘We are ahead of last year on sales of Artist’s Passes. We currently have over 200 artists signed up to take part in Pintar Rapido London and are well on the way to 500 artists – at which point we will be sold out.
‘Pintar Rapido London is the UK’s biggest outdoor painting event, competition and exhibition. It is open to professional and non-professional artists of all skill levels. Participating artists work in all mediums, from acrylic and pencil through to oil and charcoal and everything in between. It’s great fun, there are over £3,000 worth of prizes to be won and every artist gets the chance to have their picture exhibited at the Pintar Rapido exhibition, as well as offering it for sale!’

Hi , I am the organiser of Pintar Rapido . Yes I may organised event along the South coast in 2016 but this year , if you want to take part, come to London on July 11/12
