Walking on the wild side with Juliet Brando
This week Juliet Brando returns to rule the roost at Zoom Arts’ Warrior Square station gallery with an “eclectic, untitled mix of styles and media.” Zoom reports.
Juliet Brando, aka Ms Slide, is an artist and writer who lives in the West Hill area of Hastings. In her current exhibition she is showing an eclectic, untitled mix of styles and media. Some are portraits of iconic figures, others of gulls, cats, monsters and mythical creatures.
From tentacle-faced Hollywood legends to undead Disney princesses, this is sure to be a walk on the wild side for anyone who comes to visit!
The show follows Juliet’s first exhibition in the Warrior Square station gallery last July. She also participated in Zoom’s recent exhibition in Stade Hall.
The Warrior Square station gallery has been busy since the current season opened in March, and at the end of the month members of the public are invited to come along and join in a week of collective collage-making.
Juliet Brando Exhibition of work at Zoom Arts Gallery, Warrior Square Station, Kings Road, St Leonards-on-Sea TN37 6HL. To Saturday 20 May, 3-7pm. Private view open to all, Friday 19th, 7-9pm.
