See the elegant, dystopian thriller Vesper at Dear Future Film Festival

Dear Future Film Festival 2022: ecology, wonder and love

Featuring a collection of films and special events, hosted by Clare Whistler and Rebecca E Marshall, the second annual Dear Future Film Festival at The Electric Palace cinema celebrates ways of future thinking, fusing themes of ecology, wonder and love, says Annie Waite.

Events run from Thursday 3rd to Sunday 6th November 2022.

Co-curator of the festival, Clare Whistler says of the programme:

We created the festival as a move towards thinking and feeling about the future, whatever it brings. This year there is more of a concentration on climate with two days that centre around water and bees. You’ll experience a quirky selection of films both short and feature length, live talks and performance, and conversations about ways to think of the future as a love letter for the imagination! Films you might never come across!”
