Singled Out games night
Local resident, Alison Cooper, a person who has an idea and follows it through with action, is running her second singles event. The first was a dance night – and now, a games evening. Her aim is for single people to have some fun, meet other single people in an informal environment – and possibly – who knows? – cross paths with their future soul mate. Zelly Restorick writes.
After the success of the first Singled Out night at Blackmarket VIP Venue where happy, single people got down on the dance floor and boogied the night away, Alison is now holding a relaxed and jovial games night at On the Rocks in Hastings town centre. Bring some games and teach others, whilst getting to know new people.
“This is our second Singled Out event,” says Alison, “and I really hope you’ll come and join us if you’re single and like the idea of meeting new people in an informal casual setting. We had a blast last time, but it only works if people get over whatever it is they need to get over – and come along!
“It’s a really nice, supportive, relaxed atmosphere…… so just come along and… forget it’s a singles night, if that helps! At least you’ll know there’re possibilities!”
Singled Out games night on Friday 1 December at On the Rocks, 4 Claremont, Hastings, TN34 1HA from 8 til 11pm. No age limit. All inclusive. No entry fee.

Dear Keiran and everyone else reading Alison’s post,
Please don’t be put off by the photo – it’s just an image of people playing games. Uno isn’t The Game of the Night – and as Alison says, everyone’s welcome! Thanks for writing your response out loud – and giving me a chance to reply. All good wishes, Zelly

The picture does make it look a bit like teens and 20s only.
