Zoom Arts marks 10th anniversary with Stade Hall exhibition

Zoom Arts, which prides itself on being “non-selective and open to everyone to exhibit their artwork, promoting themselves within the community and gaining confidence and critique,” is celebrating its 10^th anniversary with TEN, a major exhibition of members’ work,  at Stade Hall starting on Saturday 30 April. Secretary Kim Hall describes what lies in store.

With a wide variety of art styles in the Zoom Arts group, ranging from photography and mixed media to unique glass fusion pieces, the Stade Hall exhibition promises to be full of unique and interesting pieces of work showcasing the artists’ passion for their genre.

The TEN exhibition will feature members’ works including the delicate and beautiful glass fusion of Rachel Hoath, the acrylic work of Christina Macadam, the memorable street photography of Tony Ellis and the popular mixed media created by Anna Bachene, all of whom have forged an impressive reputation for their work.

As well as these artists, there are many other impressive contributors showcasing photography, painting, mosaic work, and much more for this grand anniversary show.

Zoom Arts, which is still fronted by founders Rob Maxted and John Scowen, is following on from the recent successful launch of its gallery space at St Leonards Warrior Square Station. An exhibition in support of Hastings Lifeboat in March was followed by a photographic show of street life in late April. Early May will see an exhibition of glass work by Rachel Hoath followed by photography by John Scowen and Kim Hall (see details below).
