The Egg, w/ The Irresistible Force & Ramjac Corporation, at Henry Ward Hall
In a few days time on 2nd August, the eagerly anticipated third instalment of the Henry Ward Hall series will be unleashed upon us. It’s an ongoing collaboration between Mike Willis, of ‘Mike’s List,’ and Dan Wiltshire, organiser of the One Love Reggae Festival. Plus, for this weekend only, there is a 241 ticket offer. Andrew Logan writes.
If you experienced the last two shows (Third World and The Mad Professor), you are probably still in a state of electrified shock at the masterful mix of musical madness that ensued. If not, you might have heard the murmurings on the street or even read the glowing reviews here. Well, the journey continues on Saturday 2 August.

After some fantastic dub wise rhythms, this is the ‘Electronic Chapter’ which features dance floor alchemists ‘the Egg’ – oozing Balearic vibrations in a soufflé of sonic delights , ‘the Irresistible Force’ – with a rare opportunity to experience his first album Flying High live and the ’Ramjac Corporation’ – rave pioneer and contributor to the legendary 1989 summer of love.
Expect immersive visuals, mind-bending transformations and sonically induced sacred space in a temple of electronic elevation. Don’t miss this next-level chapter in Hastings’ music history.
For this weekend only (ends Sunday July 27)
There is a 241 ticket offer.
