Local energy for local people
Making local energy to benefit local people. Inspiring speakers event and panel discussion. This event is part of the local 1066 Energy Campaign. Kate Meakin writes.
Hastings is one of the sunniest places in the UK which gives us a real opportunity to create our own energy using solar power. Locally owned renewable energy ensures local choices and local control: we can keep money in our local economy, make bills more affordable and reduce the need for fossil fuels.
Join us for presentations by leading pioneers and practitioners about community owned energy and the great potential we have locally.
