Brought to you by Hastings HEART and Isolation Station Hastings

Your chance to talk to your MP and local representatives about the impact of Covid-19

Join Hastings Emergency Action Response Team (HEART) this Friday, 19 February, at 7:30pm for a live online panel discussion with local civic leaders answering YOUR questions about all things COVID. If you can’t make it, Hastings Online Times will be present to report back on the meeting. Here’s what HEART says.

Panellists include
Sally-Ann Hart MP
Cllr Keith Glazier, Leader of East Sussex County Council
Cllr Colin Fitzgerald, Deputy Leader of Hastings Borough Council
Graham Peters, Chairman of Team Sussex
Steve Manwaring, Director of Hastings Voluntary Action
Dawn Dublin, Director of Hastings Urban Enterprises

If you’re a resident of Hastings or St Leonards, this is your chance to make your voice heard. You can submit questions, statements or ideas related to our current health crisis, AND how we might rebuild our town in the future.

If you would like to submit a question to our panel, please fill out this online form.

COVID-19 is has impacted every aspect of our lives, so questions can be about anything that has affected you personally.

Topics might include: vaccines, home schooling, pubs, events, transport, business support and mental health – in fact anything that you feel is important and needs addressing locally.

A spokesperson for HEART said: “We are very grateful to have leaders from national and local government, education, the business sector, and healthcare with us on the night to stimulate debate, discussion and – most importantly – how we can come together to solve problems.”

This is a platform for the whole community, so please help by sharing the event, and making others who you think may like to contribute aware that the event is happening.

If you would like to attend the zoom event LIVE please register via Eventbrite.
If you don’t register or wish to attend the Zoom itself, you can watch the one-hour show live on HEART’s Facebook page here, where it will remain for people to watch after the event as well.
