‘My World’ Collage
As part of Children’s Art Week, the ‘My World’ Collage Workshop led by Stephanie Rubin takes place on 10 June, 11am-1pm at Rye Creative Centre.
‘My World’ Collage Workshop gives children ages 7-11 a chance to represent themselves, their lives and interests through art. Using a wide variety of materials (magazines, stencils, inks, spray paint, photos and pencils), children will create poster-sized collages highlighting what they are good at and what they enjoy.
Each participant will create a self-confidence building artwork which they can take home. Lots of materials provided, but please do bring along photos/print-outs etc to truly personalise your work of art!
Contact assist@ryecreativecentre for booking.
Children’s Art Week 2017 is run by engage, the National Association for Gallery Education and supported by the National Association for Decorative and Fine Arts Societies, the Finnis Scott Foundation and the Garfield Weston Foundation.
