The Kave Gallery

Post-A-Postcard! Show and sale at
the Kave Gallery ends this Saturday!

Postpersons in Hastings and St. Leonards have been busy this month as SoCo Artists have teamed up with The Kave Gallery in Kings Road, St Leonards for a fundraiser exhibition of postcard sized artworks running until the 14 September.

Funds raised will go to The Association of Carers, a fantastic local charity used and valued by so many people, which has to raise £45,000 this year in order to carry on its excellent and vital work. As well as SoCo Artists, contributions for this exhibition have come from all over the globe, from a wild variety of artists famous, unknown and collectable. This is an unique opportunity to purchase some original artwork for an astonishingly low price. There really is an enormous amount of choice and you are guaranteed to find something you’ll love, with the added bonus that you could end up with a piece of art from a famous artist that’s worth loads of money!

Each ‘postcard’ costs just £25.

SoCo’s very successful Secret Postcard fundraiser in 2009 raised over £1500! Support the Kave and let’s see how much money we can raise this year.

Special Guest Speaker: the amazing Dave ‘Catalyst Club’ Bramwell comes to speak THIS Saturday!

To celebrate these postal activities, David Bramwell – founder of Brighton’s Catalyst Club, frequent Radio 4 guest and TED talker – will be giving a lecture entitled ‘Postal Mischief’ on Saturday 14 September at 7pm. ADV tickets are advised as there is only room for 30 people. Call The Kave on 01424 422 056 or pop-in to book.

Check here for more information.
Tickets cost £5 / £3 for Kave Members
