Show of Hands go back to their roots

West country roots and folk group Show of Hands are one of the biggest acts in UK folk music, so when they came to St Mary in the Castle last weekend, HOT correspondent Darren Johnson wasn’t going to miss them. And very glad he was that he hadn’t! Photos by Simon Putman.

Hastings Folk Fest is coming

The third Hastings Folk Fest 2016 is only a week away, starting the day after Jack In The Green, and running from Tuesday 3 to Sunday 8 May. As in previous years, most events are free and take place in the pubs and cafés around the Old Town.

Show of Hands coming to St Mary
