8th Hastings Storytelling Festival a huge success

Hastings eighth annual Storytelling Festival came to an end last weekend after a week of some wet and windy but very successful events across town. This year’s festival explored Hastings in a variety of creative ways.

Hastings Storytelling Festival coming!

November’s just around the corner, which means Hastings Storytelling Festival’s is fast approaching. This year is the seventh festival, with a theme of India Reimagined and a plethora of exciting storytelling events for young and old alike. Naomi Robinson writes.

My Boy Jack

Stables Theatre are working with Bateman’s to mark the centenary of the outbreak of World War One with a production of the David Haig play My Boy Jack,  based on the moving, true story of Rudyard Kipling and his son John (Jack), writes Chris Cormack. It is about the impact of the Great War on one family.

The St Leonards Four at the Kave Gallery

There are many ways in which you might experience an art exhibition.  You may feel overwhelmed by sheer technical brilliance, moved by a depth of vision on the part of the artist, or challenged by work which is beyond your comfort zone.  All can be rewarding experiences.  However, every now and then you get to visit a show where you WANT all the pieces on display.  This is one of them.  HOT reporter Cathy Simpson comments on the current exhibition at the Kave Gallery.
