SHOES: Local production seeks funds

Local theatre and film practitioners are seeking funding via a Kickstarter campaign for one of their recent projects, SHOES, to go to Derry/Londonderry. HOT’s Zelly Restorick asked Frances Viner of Hallucinating Angels about the catalyst for the project and what she and her colleagues hope to achieve.

Strange currents in odd places

End of August approaches and with it Hastings and St Leonards annual arts festival, Coastal Currents. Amazingly, now in its sixteenth year, it has been growing exponentially in size and character, attracting international groups and live events as well as supporting local artists. HOT’s Lauris Morgan-Griffiths talked to one of the curators, Tina Morris.

UPDATE: CORRECTION TO STORY. The  Hastings Shorts series of short films, showing Saturday 27 April at 2.30pm at The Jerwood Gallery, is a new collection and not, as we originally reported, a repeat of last year’s Arrow In The Eye event.
