The return of Hi-Fest

HiFest – Hastings Illustration Festival returns to Sussex Coast College Hastings this Saturday for yet another jam-packed day of illustration fun, for all ages. With last year’s event labeled “a triumph” by special guest Quentin Blake, HiFest 2015 is set to be an even bigger and better celebration of all things illustration!

Affordable Workspace

Inspired by the developments at Rock House and other spaces around Hastings and St Leonards on Sea, there will be a meeting on Thursday 12 November to discuss ‘Affordable Workspace.’

HiFest is the first annual Hastings Illustration Festival taking place on Saturday 6 December at Sussex Coast College Hastings. It will be a celebration of all things illustration, as well as a fun, interactive, family-friendly event with talks, screenings, workshops, competitions, live drawing and stalls. Artists rally round for HIP fundraiser

Hastings Independent Press, now in its 14th edition after launching in February, is staging a fund-raising auction of local art on Tuesday at The Crown pub on All Saints Street. HOT’s Nick Terdre reports.
