Energy Awareness Week 2018

Big Energy Saving Week, this year running from 22 to 28 January is a national campaign to help people to cut their fuel bills and get all the financial support they are entitled to. Locally, take advantage of the FREE help, support and information offered by Energise Sussex Coast and Citizens Advice 1066: reduce your energy bills, get energy advice, learn about energy saving and efficiency, switch suppliers, see if there are any grants or schemes on offer, ask them questions and let them know about your energy issues.

John Hacker: balancing light and shade

Peering through the Hastings Arts Forum window at the John Hacker exhibition you could be forgiven for thinking that the pictures inside are a little brown, a little gloomy. That is what HOT’s Lauris Morgan-Griffiths’ first impressions were. Luckily, they were far from the truth; the show portrayed a very different story.

Help needed for Calais refugees

Urgent items are needed for refugees in Calais who are caught between the British and the French authorities.
