The Transition Town Hastings team have been busy again this year at their community garden at St Leonards Warrior Square Station. They have been developing and nurturing the land to make it not only more pleasingly attractive to the eye but to demonstrate how to grow flowers and herbs, enjoy the art of growing and nourishing and discover how – with some united time and effort – a location can be transformed. Zoom into Coastal Currents

Zoom Arts is proud to announce an exhibition as part of Coastal Currents to be held at Zoom Arts Gallery, Warrior Square Station, St Leonards on Sea. This should prove to be an exciting and eclectic mix of work by Zoom members, unthemed, so plenty of variety.

Anthony Birch is back this year with a fresh vibrant twist! A departure from last years architecturally styled monochromatic drawings of Hastings’ landmarks, Anthony has taken to canvas, producing colourful paintings with a summer feel. Zoom Arts’ Susan Cleland writes.

St Leonards Festival is nearly upon us (9 and 10 July) and Transition Town Hastings are preparing for a fun day on the Saturday. They will be based in front of St Leonards Warrior Square Station rather than Warrior Gardens for a number of reasons.

Zoom Arts is holding an exhibition this week at its gallery in St Leonards Warrior Square station. The beneficiary is the Hastings RNLI lifeboat station. Nick Terdre reports.
