A bigger, better, bolder festival

Now in its third year, the Hastings Fringe Arts Festival will run throughout the month of September opening with a pre-festival evening on Thursday 31 August.

A Penny Pincher’s Christmas Carol

The writing/performing team of Kate Tym and John Knowles (Rat in the Cellar, Time Please and Hilteria Pizzeria) return to the stage with a brand new family play based on ‘A Christmas Carol. Those familiar with Dicken’s seasonal classic might recall that there are quite a lot of people in his story, as well as amazing special effects; well not in this version, as ‘A Penny Pincher’s Christmas Carol’ brings you the abridged version with just two actors. What could possibly go wrong? John Knowles writes.
