New dementia singing clubs across East Sussex

Dementia Support East Sussex, which promotes communal singing as a tool for helping dementia sufferers break through their isolation, has extended its activities with the formation of several new clubs across the region. Nick Terdre reports.

On Monday 8 and Tuesday 9 April, anti-Link Road protestors marched to the Department for Transport (DfT) to demand the full DfT report on the Link Road was made available to the public. HOT’s Erica Smith put her cards on the table and joined ‘Operation Disclosure’ to search for the uncensored DfT report.

Monday: four more arrests at roads protest in Bexhill

Four opponents of the Bexhill-Hastings Link Road (BHLR) have been arrested whilst peacefully defending trees from chainsaw-wielding contractors in Bexhill this afternoon. The trees were located just north of the bridge at TN39 4AP – the intersection of London Road and Woodsgate Park.
