Age Gap Tax protest: noon on Thursday 9 May outside Amber Rudd’s constituency office

From 15 May 2019, couples where one person is over State Pension age while the other is under that age won’t be able to claim Pension Credit or pension-age Housing Benefit. Instead, both people will need to reach State Pension age before they can claim Pension Credit or Housing Benefit. Monday: four more arrests at roads protest in Bexhill

Four opponents of the Bexhill-Hastings Link Road (BHLR) have been arrested whilst peacefully defending trees from chainsaw-wielding contractors in Bexhill this afternoon. The trees were located just north of the bridge at TN39 4AP – the intersection of London Road and Woodsgate Park.
