Approx 1,000 people attended and participated in Thrift Fest, the celebration of the 30th anniversary of Hastings Furniture Service on 22 September 2018 at the Hastings Centre. Thrift Fest gathered the local groups, clubs and organisations that are helping people live active, rich, creative, fulfilled lives without costing the earth to provide a day of activities for local families.

Hastings Burlesque supports Hastings Furniture Service with debut show

Hastings and Rother Furniture Service (HFS) is delighted to announce that all proceeds from Hastings Burlesque’s debut show at the White Rock Theatre are to be donated to the local furniture charity.

Successful pop-up bookshop seeks new home

A group of local volunteers have become victims of their own success this week as the empty shop they were using has been successfully let to a business. Hastings Furniture Service used an empty shop in Bexhill to offer books for free to people passing by – raising awareness of the work of HFS and donations in the process.
