HIPCC prizewinner returns, managing director appointed

Fumiya Koido, winner of the 2019 Hastings International Piano Concerto Competition, returns to Hastings for a solo performance at Fairlight Hall. Piano Competition 2019 seeks volunteers

The organisers of the Hastings International Piano Concerto Competition, increasingly regarded as an important fixture in the country’s musical calendar, are looking for more volunteers to help in this exciting and prestigious event. Hannah Deeble writes.

Piano competition goes biennial

The prestigious Hastings International Piano Concerto Competition, which has been growing in stature every year for the last 14 years, is to become a biennial event after next year’s competition. Julian Norridge reports.
