Two local creatives, Chrstina Macadam and Keith Rodway have asked the local community for funding help and/or spreading the word – to make their artistic dreams a reality.

All go at Zoom Arts gallery

It’s all go these days at Zoom Arts gallery beside Warrior Square station, where weekly shows are the order of the day. Last week the gallery was visited by local MP Amber Rudd, and this week local artist Christina Macadam is exhibiting. Zoom’s Susan Cleland reports.

Zoom Arts extends its reach

Multiples of exhibitions on offer from Zoom Arts, the local group of artists who exhibit here and roundabouts. Great to see the spectrum of artwork they produce, proving that ‘AHA!’ moment I had years ago – the realisation that every piece of artwork is unique. And one person’s masterpiece is another’s monstrosity. Zelly Restorick’s update on where you can find Zoom Arts exhibitions, whilst promenading and perusing in the coming weeks.

Eye catching exhibitions from Zoom Arts

Established local arts group, Zoom Arts have two June exhibitions. A riot of colour arrives at Warrior Square Station, showcasing firstly the intricately eye-catching work of Christina Macadam and then the vibrant and patterned creations of two local artists Anthony Birch and Helen Wells.

Zoom Arts marks 10th anniversary with Stade Hall exhibition

Zoom Arts, which prides itself on being “non-selective and open to everyone to exhibit their artwork, promoting themselves within the community and gaining confidence and critique,” is celebrating its 10th anniversary with TEN, a major exhibition of members’ work,  at Stade Hall starting on Saturday 30 April. Secretary Kim Hall describes what lies in store.
