Seaview Christmas events

The Seaview Project is the only organisation of its kind locally, supporting people on the margins of society in Hastings and St Leonards and the wider area. With Christmas coming, they have two events coming up: a carol concert and an afternoon of entertainment. You’re very welcome to attend.

Red-hot red-head: there's never a dull moment when Carmen (Esme Bronwen Smith) is around.

Exploring Monteverdi

Barefoot Opera continues to explore new ways of hearing and seeing music with a visual narrative of desire from Monteverdi’s beautiful sensual part songs. In collaboration with Cantemus, a chamber choir specialising in newly discovered and rarely heard music from the Renaissance and Baroque period, this unique event celebrates the 450th anniversary of the birth of Monteverdi.

The Love of Mars and Venus: myth, love and lust

The Barefoot Opera Company is not one for standing still. In its aim to make a theatrical/operatic experience open to everyone, the company brings in music and dance – and sometimes food and drink – to create atmospheric evenings to stir the senses of sight, sound and taste.
