Charity auction for Hastings’ families

Education Futures Trust, the Hastings based family support charity, will hold their annual fundraising auction on Friday 30 June, raising vital funds to help those in need. The Auction of Promises will be hosted by auctioneer, Paul Howard and will be held at Hastings United Social Club. Hastings United FC has kindly donated the venue and staff services for the evening.

The Trust have been supported by many generous businesses this year, who have donated some great auction lots, including The Jerwood Gallery, The White Rock Theatre, Brighton Racecourse, Chapel Down Vineyard, The House of Lords, Drusillas, Boden and Source Park, among others. A full list of donors and lots can be found on the EFT website.

Last year’s charity auction raised £3800 and it is hoped that generous bidding this year will help to exceed this figure. Doors for the auction open from 6.45pm, where a buffet will be provided by chefs from EFT’s Our Cafe @Ore for a small donation, followed by bidding from 7.30pm.

Education Futures Trust do not receive any funding and rely on donations as a charity. Money raised at this auction will help to support local children and families, offering opportunities not normally available to them. All donations are extremely welcome and gratefully received.

Tickets to the Auction of Promises are £3 in advance and £5 on the door, with tables of 10 receiving two complimentary tickets when booked ahead. To purchase tickets, or place advance bids, contact Charlotte on 01424 422271 or email office@educationfuturestrust.org.
