1 March – 2015 Piano Concerto Competition

The 2015 competition runs from February 28th to March 7th in Hastings, East Sussex, and sees young pianists from 30 different countries compete across four stages, culminating in a thrilling final with the Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra. Participants and spectators of the Hastings Musical Festival are invited to send in comments and photos

Stage One takes place over the first three days (28th Feb, 1st and 2nd March). Contestants give a 25 minute performance from the 2015 Concerto List.

Stage 2 takes place on Wednesday 4th March, and is a Beethoven and Mozart stage.

The Semi-final recitals of own choice repertoire take place on Thursday 5th March at 5pm.

There will be a Masterclass for the three unsuccessful semi-finalists with members of the International Jury on Friday 6th, at Fairlight Hall, at 6pm.

The Final takes place on Saturday March 7th with the Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra at 5.50pm.
