Terri Berkeley Cornner

Meet Terri Berkeley Cornner

Spotted in Clive Vale.

Terri describes her style:

I would describe my style as Kookey eclectic. I like vintage clothes and am influenced by the 1940’s and 50’s.  The androgynous look of brogues and smart jackets appeal to me. I decorate myself with all kinds of accessories – brooches, earrings, hats and vintage scarves.

I get a lot of my clothes from vintage shops, one of the shops I particularly like to browse in is The Wardrobe in Old Town High Street, Hastings. I do buy things from high street shops but I always individualise my high street purchases by mixing vintage items with them.

I like to dress inventively and I am really pleased when people compliment me on something I am wearing.

I work as a school nurse but in my spare time I make individual things for my home and I dabble in dressmaking. I love to socialise and go out a lot. I enjoy going to art galleries especially for the free wine!

My favourite item of clothing was a real bargain; it is a brown and cream spotty 1950’s dress I found crumpled on the floor in Courthouse Street Market and only paid £10 for it. I wear it an awful lot.
