Filmmaker Rebecca E. Marshall has created a letter-in-film to her son in 2033 when he will turn eighteen. According to current predictions, this will be the time when humanity will be preparing for the first manned mission to Mars. Zelly Restorick asks Rebecca about her connection with Hastings, film and her inspiration for Fever Of The Light.

‘Sounds of Grace.’ Liking the sound of these words and drawn to the concept of sound healing, HOT’s Zelly Restorick went along to Kings Road Studio in St Leonards to experience one of Carolina Baranski’s sound therapy sessions. Having enjoyed the experience, she asked Carolina about her connection with sound and how she arrived in Hastings from Brazil.

Piano competition runner-up to give recital

A feast of thrilling classical piano music will be on offer at Fairlight Hall this weekend when young South Korean virtuoso Hans Suh, who came second in last year’s Hastings International Piano Concerto Competition, will give the HIPCC Winter Recital. Julian Norridge reports.
