Hastings & St. Leonards on-line community newspaper

Up on the roof of the De La Warr Pavilion are SIXTY bodies, almost reminiscent of the Civil War scene in Atlanta in Gone With The Wind, but minus Scarlett O’Hara.  They are of course cast from the one original Gormley, in five different poses from foetal crouch to standing man. A speeded-up video shows how they got them up there. A very small boy was running around counting “the willies”: boys will be boys, but girls will be women, as we used to say.
