Hare today…

Cathy Simpson reviews the current Mad March Hare exhibition at The Weekend Gallery.

For sheer delight, it’s difficult to beat the current show at The Weekend Gallery!
Ian McCulloch’s atmospheric, autumnal etchings line the walls and provide the backdrop; Alison Read’s playful prints are guaranteed to raise a smile:

There are also three dimensional hares ranging from the humorous work of Sarah Cox, the dynamic work of Jackie Summerfield and the majestic Nick Mackmann:

As ever, there are many prints for sale at affordable prices – and this is what The Weekend Gallery is all about. These are pieces you don’t just want to look at, you want to take them home with you. Well, nearly all of them, and no exhibition about hares is going to be complete without a hair piece…

Luckily, it won’t be gone tomorrow and you can catch the ‘Mad March Hare’ exhibition up until Sunday 1 April!
