HOT’s Zelly Restorick watched the inspirational documentary, Demain recently at The Electric Palace – about sustainable living and what we can do to survive and thrive in the face of climate change and other environmental threats. For her, the delightful highlight of the film was Rob Hopkins, Founder of the Transition Town movement saying that things don’t need to be all gloom and doom. Things could be FABULOUS!

Plan to shape Hastings’ future out for comment

The future shape of the town centre and White Rock/Bohemia is in the air following publication by the council of a draft area action plan, which is now out to consultation. To help residents get a grip of what is being proposed, Hastings Urban Design Group will hold two walkabouts of the areas in question. Nick Terdre reports.

Holy Trinity Hastings’ Summer Club Jungle is a popular week-long summer club event for children aged 5-11 held at Holy Trinity Church in Robertson Street.
