Hastings Fat Tuesday festival is looking to bring the best new music to Hastings in 2018 – and they’re seeking musicians across a wide spectrum of musical genres who want to be amongst the performers rather than the audience. Hannah Collison writes.

Hastings Herring Fair, now in its sixth edition, has been put back to the weekend of 18 and 19 November to accommodate the late-running fish, the council reports.
