Ready for the Big Sleep

This Friday evening the Seaview Project will throw the spotlight on the growing problem of homelessness in Hastings with an evening of music in the Stade Open Space followed by the Big Sleep, when some 150 fund-raising volunteers will bed down in the open to experience the reality of sleeping rough for a night. Library plans on display at open days

You can get a sneak peek at the new plans to provide Hastings with an improved and enhanced library at two open days next month.

Return of the prodigal…clock!

Almost 80 years after it was first installed and 40 after it left the modernist landmark of Marine Court in St Leonards-on-Sea, one of the original electric clocks designed exclusively for the apartments in the building has finally returned home. Clive Gross tells Nick Terdre how it happened.

Kettle’s Yard comes to Hastings

Kettle’s Yard is the home of a great modern art collection in Cambridge. However, while the gallery is undergoing a major development, it is working with various organisations to house the exhibits in different places – like the Jerwood. HOT’s Lauris Morgan-Griffiths went along to see how the forty Cambridge artworks worked with the Jerwood’s own collection.
